Finally Tired of Antics on Graveyard Cars

The only part I find hard to understand is how anyone is able to watch the absolute buffoonery of that show for more than 5 minutes, let alone pay that moron to work on their car. You can learn more in 15 minutes on FABO than if you watched all 20 seasons of GYC and Mark's massive ego. And...

classic does carry M&H harnesses. they probably sell a coupe different brands. not sure if the OP got one or not.. as far as evens goes, stay away from that stuff.. had one and it bad crimps all over the damn thing. at the time there were many complaints about the same thing all over the...

Big Issue on harnesses from Classic Industries

I think I am ok; just a little work to do. I have what I think are correct connectors coming and will have to move the wires. Hopefully that goes smoothly. And I did the whole marking wires deal though I must have missed a few. Luckily, there are not too many places to go in 1965. Lol I...

273 Low profile single 4 barrel intake manifold 64-65 aluminum Offenhauser # 5489 NOT MINE

I like that the manifold is old enough to have stud locations for both "old style" 4bbls and the more standard newer bolt pattern

    So... What did I buy?

Are you talking about a rebuilder's medallion? The only time I have seen something like that is a medallion that rebuilders use. Whatever they are stuck on with comes undone at a specific temperature so they know if you managed to overheat the block - no medallion, no warranty.

Big Issue on harnesses from Classic Industries

M&H harnesses have always been right on the money - just like the factory (they used to make harnesses for Chrysler back in the day). They really know their stuff BUT they don't sell direct, you have to go through year one or Summit or classic, but those guys don't know **** about your car...

Any fabo members up in Seattle or near by ?

Somewhere on the northeast side of Moses Lake, maybe as far north as Lake Roosevelt. Not too close to town... but not too far either... ;-) Will look for a rambler on some property with a view and a shop... Or at least have room for a shop. I think a couple acres will do.

Finally Tired of Antics on Graveyard Cars

If an A body owner were to be willing to spend the money to have Worman restore their car, I don't see why he would turn them away. If very few Duster/Dart/Demon owners are knocking on his door, that would explain why you don't see them done at his shop. It isn't like this guy is running a...

Vinyl top trim fasteners - looking for source

I ended up using the same clips that are used on the rest of the vinyl top trim. They work fine but are a pain to install (getting the nut on the back). I think Chrysler used those odd screws because it would be too expensive to have a factory line worker crawl into the trunk and snake their...

Finally Tired of Antics on Graveyard Cars

look at those dusters that just sold at mecum a few months ago. the only people who really made money was the shops that restored them and the auction house. arguments of worth or value aside, the cost to have a car restored is astronomical and most people who enter this gambit tend to choose...

    Another bulb doesn't work question

The Emojis and BOLD/ITALICS etc Icons Stopped Working

I used to be able to emphasize word in a post by clicking on Bold/Italics Icons at the top od the post. Then I could add funny emojis. All of those icons have stopped working for me. They are now light grey and don't work.
