How about pics of car you got your first drivers license in.

1966 Dart, my first car. My Dad highly suggested that I buy a neighbors car when I was 14, and told me I had two years to fix it. I fixed it in one year and this was the result...... The next year seemed to be the longest of my life at the time. He was a muscle car guy and of course it had to be...

    Sealing up valve covers

Mine don't. Factory Commando covers with the wrinkle black paint, so I didn't want to use "spreaders" etc.

Eastwood CONTOUR SCT® - Surface Conditioning Tool

Eh, it’s definitely a safer way to strip some paint. Compared to a 4 1/2 grinder with a paint attachment it’s probably faster and easier. Compared to a 7/9” grinder with a sanding disk it’s substantially slower, but also substantially less risky.

    Sealing up valve covers

If the oil is getting to the fasteners, you are asking for leaks.

Eastwood CONTOUR SCT® - Surface Conditioning Tool

Funny I’ve been looking at them to strip the roof on my van. I bought a few of those 4-1/2” grinder paint strippers from a professional welding store. The ones that look like some sort of crazy wire with a coating. $18 each but if you let them do the work and just basically hold on - they seem...

Eastwood CONTOUR SCT® - Surface Conditioning Tool

I have one. It works well, using the right drum for the right job is fairly important to get the results you want. It's less aggressive than a 7/9" angle grinder with a sanding disk on it, probably down a little power compared to that too but better for bodywork and "surface conditioning" than...

Simple green and water for the sonic cleaner. I have also soaked one in diesel for about a month. Still have that one on on my daily driver.

1971 Duster- Does Anyone Have UNDER-THE-DASH Photos Showing (1) the Parking Brake Lever Assembly, and (2) Location of the Parking Brake Cable Grommet?

On my '74 Duster the parking brake cable and grommet are in about the same position as your tape and wire pass through is. The welded up hole isn't there at all on my '74. The parking brake cable, hole, and grommet are directly below the flange for the parking brake mount. If you remove the...

I own two, when they went on sale for $99, the one that comes with extra drums I got for $129. Wait for sales if you decide to buy a Eastwood. I have most of the drums, the replacements will be from Harbor freight next.

    Seized throttle shafts in 4150

Yes it is the shafts that are stuck in the plate, I had already boiled the plate in a mixture of vinegar and water with no luck.

Blades are off, just sprayed some fluid film on it. I have a friend with a sonic cleaner, any recommendations for a solvent solution that I could try?
