Are the replacement poly bushings for upper/lower control arms decent for a non-daily driven car ? I am referring to the bushings wherein you replace the rubber only and re-use the shells/outer liners. Obviously they've sold thousands but I've not used them , always had an old-school mechanic...

Just pulled the 340 from a 73 Roadrunner I bought (I know it's a B body, but there's more advice here) ..... anyway, I knew the 73 motor was a wheezer but, lo and behold, I got a '70 block (and hoping internals) , but rest of the assembly (727, heads, exhaust man., intake man., all 73 correct)...

Like tree rings ...... count the layers of primer / paint , I count 12 if you count at least the top layer of clear ...... always black except the last paint was black with blue metallic. Gotta go to bare metal to get the whole story !
