I checked for vacuum leaks and couldn't detect any. I'll try cleaning it out a bit and see if that helps. I checked the fuel filter, too and it was clear of debris. I'm still going to start prepping the other intake, though. If I can get this little problem fixed I'll have a good ride...

Does it only sputter when you take off, or when you're cruising down the highway? Is it possible your vacuum advance isn't working or maybe a vacuum leak? The more information you give the better :)

cudamark: It doesn't have to be I don't guess. As long as it has all the same linkage, or the ability to transfer it to the new core.
