    Cam swap question

The engine rebuild has less than 500 miles on it. Although it was done many years ago, the car has rarely been driven.

    Cam swap question

Hello all. I’m looking to swap out the cam in my 1969 340, 4 speed Dart. Also changing the stock intake. It has stock cast iron heads with headers. Current cam is a Crane 216/216- 454/454. Going with an Elgin 231/231- 480/480. More duration and lift. Am I ok with the stock valve springs? Also...

    [Found!] 1969 Dart Glovebox latch/striker

Hi. I’m looking for the part listed above. I have the lock. Somehow, when the car was disassembled, the striker or latch was misplaced. Thanks in advance.

In addition to my ‘72 Dart….

He owned the car for 30 years and spent quite a bit of money on it. It was a unique opportunity for me. He was a friend of my friend who I had met a few times over the years. He didn’t advertise the car. I realize he could have gotten a lot more, but he was happy with what I gave him and that...

In addition to my ‘72 Dart….

Significantly less. I was prepared to pay that, but upon asking the owner what he wanted, it was quite low. He was elderly, had no interest in the car and just wanted it gone.

In addition to my ‘72 Dart….

……I picked up a numbers matching ‘69 Dart Swinger 340, 4 speed. Needs a few odds and ends to be completed, but it’s 95% done.

    Out with the old…..

No worries. Before I inserted the combo in the car, I gave the 727 a Craigslist rebuild with Duplicolor low gloss black.

    Out with the old…..

    Omg, best thing ever!!! Lol!!

    Out with the old…..

The 440 was overkill, so I sold it to my neighbor for his 73 Barracuda. I had built the 360 over 10 years ago for another project, so it worked out perfectly.

    Out with the old…..

    Out with my ‘72 Dart’s 440, and in with a built 360.

360: What engine brackets and motor mounts?

I’m having trouble trying to picture this.

360: What engine brackets and motor mounts?

Yes, it was originally a 318 car. It’s definitely a small block K frame. Drivers side mount was mildly hacked to get the 440 in there. It’s repairable.
