    more mock up.....working my way to the back. Went with a Strange 9" w/ 3.25 gear. Originally planned for a Strange S-60 but the lowest gear available was a 3:55 this combo will put Butch at 1820 rpm at 70mph with the .75 overdrive engaged............@ 5200 rpm he will hit 200 mph. SHAZAM!!!!!

    I saw them sketched on a cocktail napkin at Somma's Pizza / Plum, PA a while back. They are for coil springs but the pivot points is what were needed. They will work A-OK for making a jig to fabricate the next step.....mock-up LCA arms.

    over time, the project switched from 4-speed w/ GV to the OEM 8HP90 8-speed to (hopefully final answer) the TCI 6X Gen III / Outlaw shifter (automatic) package. Butch worked with TCI on the converter specs. We liked the transmission gear selection with a .75 overdrive. It does fit the OEM...

    Maxi / mini tubs with 4-1/4 width stretch came out pretty good. Between Fog (the HDK fabricator / welder) and my friends @ Boutwell Customs....these things look almost stock...ish.

    Like you, willing to slightly narrow the rear to keep the wheels / tires tucked in. 275/60/15 on 8" rim with 4" backspacing. Cut the housing down a total of 1" and took 1/2" off each axle, Dr.Diff off set hangers on front , Mopar offset shackles on rear.

    I would be surprised and happy if the Holley pan fit. From measuring, I think it is too deep in the front. I usually run the Milodon #31003.
