It's got a 78 dodge diplomat 318 motor, I think it's the bands, originally 273.

I was driving earlier, and my transmission blew. I don't know what type of transmission came on a automatic 1965 Barracuda, im looking for a new tranny but I don't know where to start. Any information helps, -G

I recently bought a 65 Barracuda from a friend and he has a 318 in it from a 78 Diplomat. He threw in the numbers matching 273 Motor to the car, He said it was knocking, I just started tearing into it. I need some info on where I can buy engine rebuild kits for the 273, Thanks, Gary:thumblef:
