I have alum. main caps with ARP studs, nuts and ARP head bolts on RPM heads. My question is, How many times can I torque the studs, nuts and bolts? At what point should I replace them?

I never said they were ARP bolts. I said look for thread size and length, Pontiac bolts are .575 in length.

There's a lot of truth to what you all say. Their are alot of ways to achieve this. However IMO. respectfully. Your block first needs to be squared up. All or most of all the measurements you do will be based on your block being square.

I too used the Comp, Eng. mid-plate withe spacer with it "same thickness as the mid-plate". The problem "IMO" it makes the flex plate bolts to short and these are .500 long bolts. Counter rotating props cancels out torque from the props. It makes a boat more stable. Also different types of hulls use different rotations. Some rotate inwards and some outwards.

I agree kbr577. That cam is going to idle around 900 to 1k rpm. You better have stock in Exxon, lol. It is designed for heads that flow a lot more than what you have in mind. Get a different head for that cam.
