I'm hoping so too. I got the hoist and stand today for pulling the engine and transmission. Service manuals from 1976 are coming this week. While the engine and trans are out, I will be deep cleaning the engine bay and sending it off to a local body shop for an inspection.

The consistency was very similar. It was reminiscent of the blue devil head gasket sealer if you are familiar with that. The previous owner said they probably used a “silver seal”. Not familiar with that but I’m guessing like the bars leak “copper seal”? Which doesn’t make sense because I didn’t...

Thats the plan. I just got the engine hoist and stand and have a buddy coming over tomorrow to help pull the engine. I'm going to get it stripped down and take it to a machine shop for washing and testing.

Hello all. I’m working on my first 1970s Mopar A body. I’ve noticed while going through the engine bay that half of the emissions lines are not hooked up. Only one line to the canister at the front of the engine bay, a yellow sensor with 2 vacuum ports in the valve cover isn’t hooked up, etc...
