Years ago I swapped out the manual transmission in my 70 340 Dart with one from another 70 340 Dart. The gear ratio seems higher, meaning it cruises in high gear at a lower rpm. Does that make any sense?

I have a 70 340 Swinger that I am toying with switching to power steering. What are your thoughts on this project? Is it worth the work and expense?
