Just guessing, I'd say that if the cam is a "factory LA grind" it's for an LA motor.

Another member posted this but I don't remember who. If I did I'd give them credit for it.

I have a bell with the same casting # & it has the small bearing retainer register (4 3/8"). I have another one with the 4.8" register but it was machined that way later, it didn't come that way from the factory. The one blu340dart has looks like it has the small register.

Maybe he was thinking about intake manifolds??

They look like Holley 4782 & 4783 carbs. They were sold by Direct Connection (now Mopar Performance) as a "race" replacement for the factory six pack carbs. Other places sold them too. There's a little more about this type of carbs in this thread...

What center section is the Ring & pinion for?

I'll have to try to get into my shop tomorrow & take a couple of measurements to see if this would work for me. Can you get a measurement of the diameter of the drum register on the axles? Will they fit a standard A body drum?

Sounds like what we need to know is what flange to flange means. Is it housing flange to housing flange? Axle Flange to axle flange can vary depending on what brakes it was meant to be used with, can't it? And this set of axles is drilled for both bolt patterns which only confuses the...

$325 for the exhaust manifolds is almost giving them away.

If somebody needs it that's a good price. Brewer's gets $200 for one that's reconditioned, whatever that means.
