Soak them in VERY hot water. That will soften the plastic up to install them. Do it quickly before they cool off. I replaced some emblem retainers on my dart that were hard as a rock. I had to nearly boil the water to get them soft to slide them on the emblem pins.

I’ve got the same radio, bracket, AND kicker speakers in my dart! I don’t have any bass either and probably don’t want it due to rattles and no sound deadener. An extra bezel would have been so nice! I fought with mine for an hour or so assembling it.

Sounds like the aftermarket gauge "inserts" he is referring to are for 70 and up non rally dusters, demons, valiant, etc. You will most likely need to cut and modify your dart dash frame to fit the bigger duster style gauges in.

I fought it on my first try. Now I can do it in 10 minutes. Also, there is a clip that holds the wiring harness to the gauges it's just a metal tab that bends around the wires. And make sure your wiring harness isn't caught on the Speedo, it's sticks out the back when the Speedo cable is removed.

Drop the steering column down. Have it laying on the seat. Unhook the Speedo cable. Remove the cluster screws and tilt the top of the cluster out until you can get to the wiring connectors. Carefully unplug them and it should come out. I've removed the cluster a few times in my '70 dart

I bought a black dash pad from classic industries in 2014. Fit great and still looks good. Edit. Just looked and they'e gone up $115 since I bought mine in October of '14.

I would love to have your seats! I have 2 sets of 70 or 71 challenger seats. One set is nice and the other set will get foam and covers like yours which I believe is correct for my 70 dart.

The original one in my dart didn't have any holes. So I needed to replace it anyways for the holes. But it disintegrated when I touched it. Most of it got cleaned up with a vacuum! I'm not sure how you can securely mount your speakers without removing the package tray.

I pulled my dried up rotten package tray out and installed the speakers from the bottom because they were too tall to mount from the top. Used bolts with nylon lock nuts. And put a new package tray in. Does your package tray have holes in it for both speakers?

Go to a couple upholstery shops and get quotes on having yours done the way you want. They can make or modify the foam you have. Use whatever color vinyl you need to match your existing interior. And they can use your back seat as a general pattern so it all matches.

Where did you order yours from? I got mine new from an eBay seller for $339. Retrosound wanted $399 plus shipping. BUT they got my order wrong and sent the incorrect knobs. My factory knobs look terrible and the new knobs don't look very good.
