    Another DIY gauge cluster

That’s lookin good! One tip I’ve heard (but never done yet) is paint the back side of your dash frame white. That way anytime you need to work under there, you can see things a lot better.

    What seats ??

Here’s how I modified the drivers seat. I also added subframe connectors and welded an “outrigger” to the subframe connectors and used that as the rear outer mount on both seats

Sound deadening, Carpet, and floor pan repair questions

Hey Rob, I’m considering doing this same thing in my Duster in the next week or so. I’ve read about some “issues” with rustoleum taking up to several weeks to fully cure/harden. What was your experience with that? Did you add any type of hardener to the paint or just slap her on right outta the can?

Good after Market Heat and Sound Deadener for firewall and Floor.

I believe most people put them on the inside of the door shell. Like, on the inner side of the door skin itself

    LED dash lights

Hmm.... I might have to wire in a regular bulb somewhere behind the dash so I can dim my LED’s. Mine go from SUPER bright to so dim you can’t hardly see the gauges.

    Grant? Steering Wheel Help

You can buy the longer, cheaper, e-body crush can and cut a section out of it and reweld it. Or maybe try bending the turn signal stalk like other suggested

    Post your Dash Pics

Thanks guys. My AX-15 isn’t machined out for the speedometer gear and since our 200 has gps in it we never used the Garmin anymore so I decided to see what I came up with. The high beam indicator was just a brain fart I had one day so I decided to run with it! The only down side is it sometimes...

I just realized I never updated this thread since I got some of the upgrades done. It’s still not done and it’s not perfect but it’s better than it was. The Mopar “M” is my high beam indicator.

    Stick down sound proofing ,Insulation?

Speaking of the micro balls. I know a guy that sells thermal paint, it contains tiny glass spheres and is suppose to help with radiant heat. The guy he works for built a canvas tent style house and painted the entire inside and the only heat source they had last winter was a small wood stove and...

Just a follow up on this. I bought the fitting I linked to in post #12 and it worked perfectly. Cluster is back in the car and works great

What is the thread size on the back of oil pressure gauge??

So looks like I might need this fitting then get an adapter to go from not to an. Looks to be the same thing Del posted in post #3 Brass 1/8" Tube OD x 1/8 NPT Male Pipe Thread Compression Fitting Coyote Gear | eBay

What is the thread size on the back of oil pressure gauge??

I understand that Del, sorry I dropped the ball on this one. My gauge is literally exactly like the picture you posted above, that's the exactly make (Equus) and more than likely the same model. Equus gauges are the only ones who use those thread on fasteners to hold the gauge in place instead...

What is the thread size on the back of oil pressure gauge??

That right there is exactly what the back of my gauge looks like. So I guess I need to find a way to go from 1/8" compression to the an fitting

    Dodge Demon Headlight switch removal

Yea the wiper switch nut is a different story. That would work better with a needle nose or a snap ring pliers
  30. 75slant6

    Dodge Demon Headlight switch removal

Easiest way to remove the nut that holds the switch in is to use a big Phillips screw driver. Once you get the knob/shaft out you'll see exactly what I mean
