screw that gateless/ratchetless POS... i had one for a long time and hated it. only reason i got it was for the 4 speed look... Pro-matic ratchet and be done, of course controlling a cheetah MRVB!

well we run a 23 behind a ~625-650hp 472 Race Hemi but the owner isn't going to race it, didn't even to the track pack option so it will be fine. If you plan on running the gears hard or taking it to the track i would just go the 18 for insurance.

i think there were a couple different flywheel sizes and also different input bearing sizes.

passon performance has the both. i would go 18 if you plan on running at the track or have stick tires... also its a good idea to run an aluminum flywheel to help ease shock on the trans

only difference is cranks machined for the stick have the second hole in them, i.e tq register and then the pilot bearing hole... just look and see you could have both already or just have the shop drill it out.

if it is an AMD peice i think it ends up about 2 inches from the floor to firewall seam... but your best bet it to install the trans and shifter... its the hole for the shifter that ends up being an issue not the rods...

you could do one like the 4x4 guys do... they have a small level on the shifter for controlling the throttle... could use the same thing...

i would agree with that except alot of the new diaphragm clutches have the weights that increase holding power in the mid rpm range... but on the other side alot of the stock/cheap clutches dont so a "3 finger" would be better...

that all looks awesome except there is a crossmember right where your two shift rods are...

well he dosn't have the rest of the parts to do so but you should be good by installing the rear trans mount and make sure you have the right shifter adapter for the setup...

if your using the repo peice its 1.5 to 2" from the seam for the floor pan to the edge of the hump peice

yea the soft lock.... we had it in the Mr. norms car... PITA unless you like to tear down your car all the time lol... getting it adjusted up isn't a big deal but having to drop the motor trans every time due to the lakewood bell housing is...
