    Hemidenny K member club?

I just got my new HDK so "Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez". I will say this to anyone waiting to join the club, If you do not order the K-member powder coated, make sure you have a plan for what you are going to do. I had every intention of having mine powder coated but got so caught up in the...

    Hemidenny K member club?

Swifter, I Asked Denny a similar question and he said the R&P will not be any lighter, just tighter. I am going with power on mine and am using the GM Saganaw pump from Speedway motors. Bobby

Best place to buy rear springs a body? selling caltracs

I would check with ESPO http://www.springsnthings.com/ . I too have a new set of Caltrac split Monos that came with the car, just looking at them make me think it will not make for a good ride. However if you are hooking gobs of HP to the ground these with their bars and adjustable shocks seem...

    Woo-hoo! Look what came yesterday!

Very nice. I have the complete Clavert set up with the split Mono leaf and the CalTrac bars. Still trying to decide if I'm going to put them in. Also have his NIB 90/10 front shocks that will not get used.

    Ride height

What do you mean unless running SS springs, do they give a different ride height side to side. I am planning on replacing my leaf springs with new ones. Looks like I have a number of choices, Mopar XHD, Mopar SS, Hotchkis Sport Suspension.

    Ride height

Thanks for the info. My problem is I'm going to a Hemi Denny tubular front end. I need to know what shock coil over to order to get the ride height. I'm not looking for exact just trying to figure out where the original Dart set. I will be putting new SS springs on the rear and I'm sure that is...

    Ride height

Thanks Jim, I understand that, just trying to get some idea what the stock visual ride height was. Most of the cars came with E or F X70 14's, my original was G70X14 and it was a special order. The diameter range was from 25.9 inches to 26.8 inches. I am going with a HemiDenny tubular front end...

    Ride height

I'm looking for the stock ride height of a 67 Dart. I would like to have a measurement from just behind the front wheels and just behind the rear wheels. I'm not setting ride height from these measurements, just want to compare the numbers to where my car currently sits. So if anyone has a 67-69...

    Rear suspension

Has anyone run the Caltrac Mono split leaf on the street. Seem such a waste to not use it but then I don't necessarily want to do double the work and have to change it out.

    Rear suspension

As I plug slowly along on my 67 Dart, I was talking to a friend and he started suggesting that I change the complete rear suspension out for either Ladder Bars or 4 Link. I started looking on this site and either I am using the wrong search criteria or there is not a lot about changing the rear...

    Green Wheel bearing help

Well I finally did the unthinkable. I called a friend to come help, (kind of like asking for directions). He came over sit down in front of the passenger wheel grabbed the brake drum, whispered something to the car, wiggleed it a couple of times and it slid right off. Well not to be out-done, I...

    Green Wheel bearing help

Bill G and others, Getting the Drum off is my current issue to see what I have. What should be the slot to allow for loosing the adjuster has a steel plug/plate on the inside. I am afraid to use a BFH and chisel to try and knock it out and hitting it firmly did not do it. No I am not hitting the...

    Green Wheel bearing help

Well I thought I would go just pop off the drums and take a look. That has turned out to be much easier said than done. The drums, both sides are free enough to wiggle around and slide in and out 1/8 inch or so but neither will come off. I have hit around on the edge of the face with a mallet...

    Green Wheel bearing help

Thanks a bunch. I will pull the drum off tomorrow and then I will know. Does anyone know why most of the disk conversions say must use green bearing.

    Green Wheel bearing help

Thanks for the info, now I just need to go see if I can find a adjuster nut on the passenger side. Is this something I can see with the brake drum still on or do I need to remove it.

    Green Wheel bearing help

I'm sure I must be the only person on the form that doesn't know what a green rear wheel bearing is or how to tell if you do or don't have one. My rear end is a 8 3/4 with Dutchman axles. I am thinking about doing a rear disk swap and some kits say it must have green wheel bearings. Bobby

Cheapest way to get an inch or 2...

I have to admit I have not read the entire thread but I don't recall you saying how you planned on using the car, street or strip. If you are looking for a performance boost and no it's not the cheapest, but hey you've been looking for 6 months you might try Calvert Mono-Split from...
