I've installed the earlier style mini starter's before but recently, I have aquired a newer style. Instead of the two studded terminals for hookup, it has a plug in terminal and a stud terminal. Can I still hook this style up to my old school Mopars? If so, how do I go about hooking it up?

Getting ready to install a three gauge cluster in my '65 Newport. Where is a good place to get power for the lights in them?

Check all the connections to the coil then get a test light to put to the hot side of your coil. With the switch on, see if it lights up. That will show that the coil is getting power. I'm guessing you have a dead switch in the column???

I have a higher amp alternator to go on my '65 Newport. It is the '78 or so with the square back. How would I go about upgrading the wiring to accept the higher amperage safely? (ie-no fire hazard or problems at the bulk head)..

I had the MSD6AL on my '71 Duster. Terribly unreliable unit. Sometimes it would start and sometimes it would not. Went back to the Mopar ECU setup and ended the problem, well until the boxes started dying on me.
