I love AMC's. Marlins, Gremlins, Hornets, Javelin/AMX's, etc,. However, the Pacer was one of the worst cars ever made in both looks and build quality IMO. That guy can keep it!

I think the price and hassle just isn't worth it. Not only do you need the invertor, but the panels, the installation, the building permits and/or zoning variance, and the money to accomplish the aforementioned. I think for SHTF preparedness or people living off the grid it might be worth it but...

I respectfully disagree. I normally find that most people who spend serious amounts of cash on gear to be more about showing off than about being a better musician. They want the cool factor and for everyone to "Oh" and "ah" over their gear. Just my observation.
