**Seat Paint?? What are you using?**

Marhyde, Sem and other dyes work well, yet on seating where your body constantly comes in contact, things will be different, just like what happens to steering wheels which are dyed with aftermarket dyes, it wears away..

    Custom Guages

Speed-Hut actually does make a 5" gauge or at least one that fits into the Autometer holes for the 5" gauge. I know this because I've been back in forth with them on this. Came out about a month or two ago... The gauge itself might be 4.5" and than will be the same as your wheels bolt pattern :)

Suggestions for aftermarket buckets- light, supportive...period correct looking too?

I have these leather seats from a 90 Nissan or lexus I forgot which, they weigh practically nothing. Been in my Signet maybe 20 years both front and back seats. They fit a lot better than seen here...

    Dying Interior parts??

All Dyed parts last a very long time as long as your own body does not come in contact with them. I have door arm rests dyed professionally to match the interior and within a few months of grabbing them to close the doors, they must be either done over or replaced.. Your seats, you car, your choice

    another dash pad topic :(

I know this isn't going to work on some vehicles but the object is to save the original foam itself and recover it with new upholstery and this is what I've done to my 69 GMC, photo isn't that perfect yet the work is.

65 Dart, any modern rear seats that fit good?

I have 90's Lexus seating in my Signet, they are leather, comfortable and way lighter than the original seating by a long shot :) they may look wrinkled but only because at that time they weren't installed properly and were in a very hot storage unit...

    interior rust removal

Wire wheel where there's rust and use safety glasses , cut out and weld in patches where needed and for the rest which is not rusted through, brush on POR15. If you're comfortable getting filthy dirty and like to scratch your arms and body, use paste type rust removers.

Custom instrument cluster - what a PIA!

And every machine shop has a brake to bend what needs to be bent for your application. Use your imagination and you'll be much happier with the outcome. My first one was made from black Lucite back then. Plus if you want the carbon fiber, there are many places which sell small sizes on the...

This coat me less than a 100 bucks to get made at a machine shop from 1/8" thick x 10" h x 6' long aluminum stock, from the complete design which I marked with a sharpie to cutting the holes for all the gauges right down to the sunken screw holes. Most any machine shop can do this with a...
