    Pulling heads motor in car

It’s possible. I just did mine a couple weeks ago. Driver side, had to replace lifters. Not hard, plenty of room, removing headers sucked. Installing sucked even more; but it can be done, get a flex ratcheting wrench, and you’re good to go.

    Mech oil gauge

Yea my water pump housing has that plug, it's too small for your standard mech temp probe. Which I believe is 3/8. Was thinking of tapping it a thread size bigger or possibly drill and tap opposite side of stock gauge for temp, I have gauge setup there, and I need to drill for electric fans...

    hemi swap & Dash gauges

What'd you guys do for the temp? I used the stock location for the temp gauge, but when it comes to the electric fans, I don't know where to put that sensor. I've been told I can tap and drill the existing hole on the water pump housing, there's air in there with being at the top. I've seen some...

6.1 Sell or Keep for my 70??

There are so many options now, you'd be on the road pretty quick with either of your choices. Big block, would be the same as anything else, build, drop it in, and go. Dropping the new hemi, takes some research, but all parts are available pretty easily. It's all about what you prefer.

I'd be curious to see the finish setup when your done finding a way to get the rack and pinion to work. I've seen one other do it, and he had the lower ball joints pointing forward, a too much bump steer for me.
