I was thinking of getting a fiberglass hood for my 75 Dart. I'm looking at a hemi scoop hood from usbody source. Anybody know anything about them?

Here's mine. I got it for Christmas, about 4 years ago from MAS racing. I mounted mine to the bottom of the bumper using screws. I havent had any problems with it. I also get a lot of compliments.

I also found them in the help section of Checker auto parts.

I use a Devilabus (sp). Both guns are gravity fed, one's for primer and the other is for color and clear. GREAT guns. I just wish I would/could paint more.

Depends on what your sanding. For body, I will start with 180, move to 220, then move to 320. I'll prime, then add a gy-coat(sp). when sanding primer I'll use a 320 with the gy-coat (dry) applied. When I wet sand I'll use a 400-600 grit and go from there. But again, depending what your working on.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to be putting a hemi scoop on my Dart this summer. Hardest part is deciding to paint the hood black, or the scoop gold to match the car.

At the time I had a standard ail filter (no oil), and since my Scamp was my dailey driver, I drove it in the snow and in the rain. As long as you have an air filter on your carb you should be fine.

Good question. I had mine on my 72 Scamp which was my daily driver. Of course, this was over 10 years ago. I never really had any problems though.

Doing the swap wasn't bad at all. Well, except for the top hinges. The only pain was aligning the door. But it closes good now. Maybe a little fine tuning and it will close better then the factory.

thanks guys. I think I pretty much have it down. The top hinges where a "bear" to get to. It's nice not having to pick up on the door handle to close it now.

I put on a rebuilt lower hinge on the drivers door today. It took me about 3 hours to get the door to at least close. I then tried to roll the window up, and it needs to be adjusted even more. The window hits the rear window and doesnt seal all the way. Any body know any tricks or adjustments I...

I got the spoiler from my wife as a gift. I think they run between 50.00 to 60.00 dollars. The cost to mount it was only a couple of buck's. All I did was mount the spoiler with a crap load of vicecrips, centered it, screwed some holes into the bumper and used an *** load of screws. They will...

dusterboy...unfortunately (sp) MAS doesnt have a web site. They are always advertising in mopar muscle. I'm lucky enough to live 20 minutes from there shop. They sell all differnt types of fiberglass parts as well as performance equipment.

I had some front end work and an alignment done on my 75 swinger. When I picked my car I noticed they adjusted my torsion bars up really high. Can I re-adjust the torsion bars without screwing up the alignment I had them do?
