I already installed the box then a new pitman arm and 75 duster drag link also Idler arm n new sleeves having a toe adjustment issue maybe need the 75 duster spindles n arms as well ??

I bought a 76 duster steering box to replace my worn out 69 V8 dart one what do I need to get this to work ??? is It worth the cost ? Told 16:1 ratio 3 turns one side or other .. :banghead:

Yeah swapping 69 dart steering box for a 76 duster one is not a "piece of cake " big difference . Really not worth the cost 75 plus shipping on the box , 48$ for center link 29$ for idler arm 35$ for pitman arm M7076 now add tie rods n sleeves still can't get toe in the back .. as if the...

Wagg , wrong as usual the new item was supposed to fix the same problem period .. 23 1/2 is center on this link and 23 is the center of the 69 dart one . PS I don't need anymore parts as in sleeves tie rods etc unless U have a real part number that don't already have so please keep ur Neg...

I swapped a manual box 69 to a 76 duster bought all the other parts toes is still off zerp adjustment left . anyone here ever swap them out ?

Dead spot maybe a split worm gear .. defect in these boxes.

I have the same problem but only after swapping 69 dart steering with 76 duster steering box no toe adjustment left after switching the box pitman arm idler arm n center link . Zero toe adjustment left .

I used a mini level with the tires on flat ground ..

Yeah, went from 69 dart box " worn out " to a 76 duster box , found out the pitman arm idler arm center link are needed to make it work and then some , now the toe is in on both sides easy swap it's not .So whats next I don't no .. its a 16:1 ratio 3 turns one way or other .
