If you turn the key to the run position and then jumper the solenoid and the car starts and continues to run I would replace the solenoid, if the car never starts I would say it something between the switch, starter and power going the solenoid.

Sounds like a starter relay... try jumping the relay and see if it starts.

I need a set of door jam switch's for my 1972 Duster, the one's I've ordered from year one are to small for the opening all ready made in the door, once I find the right ones I will sell the other here. The part number for the wrong size one's are NG1031 ( Says 3/8" Size ) but I need a bigger...

Maybe this year I will figure it out... LOL

lol I seen that sometimes projects get put ahead of each other...

Car is still covered and have not had time to look at this trouble, but weather is getting nicer here and should have time very soon.

I seen that during a search for mini starters...

I am pretty sure mine has the bolt on wires, not a plug...I will look before ordering the new starter

Will I have to remove header to install new starter

When ordering one will it matter if its a manual or automatic tans.

Does someone have a diagram or wiring diagram of how this is to be installed.

So if you wanted to convert over to automatic you would have to run a new wire, do you think the automatic ones do go through the bulk head, what pin is used on the bulk head to connect the pump to and then go back to the switch.

I do have the Wiper Switch that does allow me to push for washer fluid, the car doesn't have a foot pump. Its a 1972 Plymouth duster. I am not sure if any of the wiring is installed but I am hoping that someone just cut the plug off or never hooked up the wire. But if the wire is to come through...

Let hope someone post the wiring harness in order for us to get this done.

I am in need of some help installing a Windshield Washer Tank and Pump. Can someone please show me a picture of the plug the gets plugged into the bottom of the pump. All my wires that come through the firewall ( Bulk Head ) are tapped up and not sure if the wire is there or not, so I am asking...
