Thanks for all the input Guys, I am hoping the car is to be out of the shop after work. The spacer is mainly to raise the aircleaner a little further up through the hood, into the "6 pack" scoop. Perhaps I could ditch the spacer on the carb and put one of those "rings" between the aircleaner...

i need an overall opinion on a msd 6a

I like my 6a. No more Ceramic resitor thingy ( man I used to go through a lot of those things) you can gap you plugs at like .050 (Bigger Spark). I think the MSD, and the Smaller more powerful dakota starter were the best two upgrades you can make for easier Starting!

The "Spline Count" is only important for the tranny going in, to determine the type of converter correct? it does not matter if a different spline count transmission came out, unless I am reusing the converter? Just trying to verify. Also anyone know if the colour of the converter means...

Yes, that peddle set up is exactly like mine. I will count splines on my SB 904 tonight (Those are the ridges that extend down the input shaft of the transmission right?) Here is a pic of the u-joint, you can see the /6 904 is still really "fresh"

Oh, I forgot my car was a 273 2bbl when it was born, so it does have the cable type accelerator peddle. I have a "Thingy" that you can crank to tilt the motor front to back, is this what you are talking about? What are some Key identifiers of a post 68 904 vs an Early one?

225 to 360 swap... info needed

I can't say for sure in you application, but in early a-bodies you need the v-8 centerlink to clear the oilpan. I also know that there are some issues in some models with fitting the 727 around the fire wall. I am only speaking from early a research, so you might be OK. Radiator - I don't...
