Full Suspension upgrade of 67 Dart

I believe that is a seam from the factory. Original factory welding was not the greatest on these k frames. You should redo all the factory welds and add gussets around the tubes where the lower control arms bolt to the kframe. Firm Feel self a pre made gusset kit to reinforce the kframe...

why is it impossible to find new small ball joint a-body complete control arms

You can ask Hotchkis to swap the a-arms for their small ball joint arms. The large ball joint is what they include in kits as a start as they assume people want the large ball joint to go with the disc brakes and 4.5 bolt pattern. I spoke to them 6 months ago about this and the tech rep said...

Replacing Federal pump with Saginaw pump?

A related question. Will the 69 steering pump bolt up to a 1970 and later small block engine with the revised timing cover and water pump using the 1970 and up pump brackets? Wondering if I can make this work or if I need the 1970 up pump and hoses to match the bracket placement.

upper control arm options 72 scamp

You can also ream out your 1972 spindles to the large ball joint size. RMS did this for someone else I know that bought their arms. Ask them. You can also buy a 7 degree reamer or have a machinist modify them for you.

That would work but the larger knuckles use different brake rotors. You can have your knuckle machined to accept the larger ball joint.

Have a pair of spindles which I believe are 73-76 A Body disc brake spindles. Casting numbers are 776-23258 and 777-23258. Can anyone confirm whether these are disc brake or drum brake spindles and if from a 73 or later vehicle? Thanks

    ESPO leaf springs

You should be able to get the 5 leaf springs in +1" as well to allow for the future sag or get that slight lift look in the mean time.

    ESPO leaf springs

ESPO will give you a recommendation for a stock replacement if you call them. If you are leaving the car stock with the 6 I would go for the 5 leaf spring.
