You could buy the Chevy bearing for and have it drilled / machined for the Mopar shaft diameter. I have done this before.

Have you tried contacting Brewers or companies specializing in rebuilding shifters to see what they have to offer?

It certainly fits in a standard A833 case. I assume it will also fit in an OD case.

340 4 speeds came with 23 spline input shafts. The other model should be 18 spline and that input shaft spline count came in certain limited big block 4 speed applications.

I was looking at an 18 spline with the 4.8 retainer. This is why I asked. Have decided after my research to stick with the 23 spline. Should serve me well if I do not do track time or slicks. Thanks to all that responded.

What ever happened to the McLeod 5 speed in development? This sounded like a good option also.

The two differences I see in this kit is that you have to (1) cut out the cross bracing that outlines the floor hump and add their replacement brace. (2) It also mentions cutting more of the floor and replacing the metal with their top piece. The Keisler kit does not have these step I believe...
