I agree with cuda69. I have a 6al with a blaster 3 coil no resistor, works great. My buddy has the same set up with a resistor, but he doesn't need it. I noticed no resistor in the directions. B

I think you need to run an internal regulator. I have a one wire I got from summit.. It works great and came powdercoated black!

Are you talking about the switch in the dash? If not where is the bulkhead connector?
