Mine was a 72 but I think they’re the same, is this the bracket of which you speak? If so the quarter should go over the bracket and it will sit inside the quarter, I installed mine after the quarter was fitted and welded in place. Bracket strengthens and prevents cracking in the corner.

I feel for everyone that's missing their build sheets, but there is something to the argument that reproducing them will inevitably be abused and destroy the integrity of the original sheets that managed to survive. I think one needs to just except that a missing sheet is part of the cars history.
