ram air for my scamp ?

This scoop works on my car. Scoop, opened hood and a K&N top on the air cleaner. Go's in the front and right down the carb. Sorry don't have a pic of the air cleaner set up.

    Hood Scoops.

I have two foam blocks covered with (dont laugh) black duct tape. They are slightly larger than the openings. I compress them and stuff em' in when the weather gets wet.

    Hood Scoops.

The scoop on mine is working! I followed the recess in the under hood frame to cut the opening. Got the top of the air cleaner right a the hood line. Works real good with a K&N top.

I built an air pan for my car.. What ya think?

I want to build one for the Duster. But I want it to go about 2 inches out from my air filter. Round to match it. Then have it roll up to about 2 inches from the hood and use a flat weather strip. Hope to get it to bolt to the bottom of the air cleaner base. keep your fingers crossed for me.

    Lookinf for Carb Suggestions

Im running almost the same set up. Same cam, but I have a Holley 750 on it. Had it worked over by a carb shop near by. The set up has gotten me in the 12's. I do have a Air gap intake on it though. Hopefully you can see the carb in this pic.

Where do i ve to put that lines on?

Enjoy that carb. Jesse built the 750 Holley on the Duster. Put it on, fired right up. Just had to do a little adjusting on the idle and mix screws. I'd recomend him to anyone. Does great work.

Need info on this air filter base

I've had good luck with that lid. The car (68-69 Valiant) has the same scoop as I have on the Duster. I would like to seal it off the same way. I gained a half a tenth at the strip with it. The looks is better. I think I can gain more if I can just seal it off.

    Fuel tank vent question

That tank looks like it came out of a later model car. I'd say late 72 and on up. I had one one the tank that was in the Duster orignally. A 73. It has the canister in the engine compartment. That line off the tank would go there.

Lowest Fuel Price you have ever paid?

When I first started driving, it was .21 cents a gallon. I was pissed when it went over .50 cents a gallon. Now I'm happy it's down to $3.29 here how.

    Anybody using fuel stabilizer?

I go along with Dusterdon also. I live in northern Wisconsin and just keep enough gas in the Duster, truck and lawn equipment to get them started. Then fill them up.

    edelbrock to holley conversion

Ok, guys. Here's my input. Take it or leave it. I got a Eddy air gap on the Duster. I switch from the 750 Eddy carb for the street to a 750 Holley dp to go racing. It bolts on with no problems. I took to linkage adaptor and elongated one hole to work on both carbs. The Eddy is great on...

    RPM Airgap?

I got one on the Duster. 340, 727 auto. I had a stock intake on the engine when I got it. Big difference. Go for it. You'll have the low end torque and better throttle response.

    Back to the fuel gauge

Is the float hanging up on something? Is there a baffle in the tank in the way? Is it going in straight or the wrong way? I put new tanks in cars and had all of these problems. Check the simple stuff first. Good luck.

Percys adjust-a-jet,what do you guys think?

Seen this set-up in the new Summit catalog. Going to put a Holley on the Duster this spring that needs a rebuild anyway. Do you guys think this system would work on a street/strip set up like on my car? Thanks, Green Duster. It's on page 18.

    Will this fit?

I think it should. You will have an extra vent on the late model tank. For the charcoal canister in the center front. Eather plug it or run a tube off of it.

    Polishing an Edelbrock Manifold

I think that Endura Shine is different than the normal intakes. It sure looks alot more smooth. I took my Air Gap and clear coated it. Still looks good.
