    Scoop question

I think #1 matches the lines and shapes much better... Also, to better match the center-rib of the hood, one could cut the front down the middle and extend and attach each side about one inch to give a better V-shape, then add about a half or one inch rib down the top center and build the area...

    Rare

It is only rare if it is verifiable that: 1. Production numbers of the certain vehicle were substantially lower than production numbers of the same manufacturer's other offerings (see: '69 Firebird vs. '69 Camaro)... And/or 2. Less than 5-10% of the original production run are still or...

You know you're a Texan when...

For all of my life, I've always been told that Texas is the greatest, most American place in all of the USA........ I get stationed here, and it couldn't be further from the truth! D:< Still, I think Whataburger and the vast selection of rust-free Mopars more than makes up for your lack of...

    Moral Dilemma: The Drink

Talk to your old friends. Tell them you are getting uncomfortable hanging around with them when they are in a state. Drunk/stoned idiots is a pain in the *** unless you're on the level and having the same dumbed fun they are. And, since purity is a big thing in Islam, you cannot partake in...

Do You Have a Survival Go-Bag?

Yep. Even in Garrison, on-post, and on rear detachment, I still maintain a 72hr bag (colloquially known as a "bug-out bag"). Careful with quick-clot; stuff is actually quite dangerous... It's wonderful if you got a huge gash and need to seal it up quickly and don't mind your new hole literally...

    Ramp.....

Aluminum. ;) My grandparents bought me one of these when I was a kid with my first motocross bike. The curve (mine is curved much more sharply, however) is designed to facilitate low Hogs, and the staunchness of the materials used assures that a 10lb 8ft aluminum ladder will hold up to the...

Does anyone else think this isn't safe?

The science behind it is actually quite neat!! It's basically a carpenter's worst nightmare; a huge screw digging into a chunk of wood that's not pre-drilled...... It's gonna split the wood! ;) While it may not be the safest option (I think swinging an axe would be a lot safer than that), it...

    paint problem

That's what we call "dry" paint... When it's supposed to be glossy but came out matte... It means you did not get enough material on the areas. Wet-sand with a block and 600 and reshoot. Other than that, you could try wet-blocking with 1500 and buffing if it's the third coat and the other two...

    I'm An Idiot!!!

Just be glad they didn't find their way into the dryer... Soap and water can't really hurt an SD card, but the massive amounts of heat and static will DEFINITELY kill them... ^^^ Like they said, let 'em dry really well (I'd say about a week on a south-facing window sill), then try 'em... - CK

    beater mini trucks, whats best?

Ya, for some reason the 3.0 V6 from Toyota was notorious for being a problem child. Also, you usually only see the Isuzu P'ups that need a head gasket because they're such strong runners that nobody ever wants to give them up!! Couple that with the fact that Isuzu wasn't a huge name in the...

    beater mini trucks, whats best?

Incorrect!! I've put well over 100k miles collectively on Isuzu pickups over the years (including a roughly 1200mi round-trip [2400 total] driven straight-through to and from Seattle [to, then from, not all at once], AND pulling a friend's Cadillac Sedan DeVille about 15 miles to a repair shop)...

    beater mini trucks, whats best?

Isuzu Pickup, '81-'95... Best little trucks EVER!! Isuzus cars may have fallen apart, but their trucks are bulletproof! I averaged about 28-32mpg with mine (2.0l 5-speed manual, dropped), and haven't put anything into the engine except oil, radiator flush with new coolant, air filters and oil...

    New Barracuda Confirmed by Gilles!

I keep coming back to this thread for that GTX..... I'm in love, and REALLY wish Chrysler would pick Schramm up and put that GTX into production with zero modifications... If they did, I'd be in church every Sunday and Wednesday thanking God for 100% proving his existence. I'd be dancing on...

    New Barracuda Confirmed by Gilles!

They sure could, but they won't. See, Chrysler is far too busy with new designs, and they are not original enough to come up with all new names for their products, so they simply rehash old names and slap them on whatever piece of **** is rolling off the line that week.... A 4-door Charger...

    New Barracuda Confirmed by Gilles!

Sooooo.... Without Plymouth around, it's gonna be the Dodge Barracuda? Chrysler Barracuda? Mitsubishi Barracuda?? :| I think all Mopar fans need to get together, throw 20 bucks in a pile, and we need to BUY CHRYSLER so we can STOP all this stupid ugly bullcrap from being developed. :\ Then we...

    another craigslist crackhead !

He was smoking crack in the car. He coughed and the hot rock shot out of the pipe and onto the carpet. Instead of stomping on it and ruining the crack rock, his obviously sharp mind ran inside to get a glass of water to pour on it! That way, he could just dry the crack rock and continue smoking...

    Anyone into Genealgy ?

Ancestry.com is a GREAT tool, but you gotta know how to work it... I've tried a few times to find stuff about my dad's side by using my mom's account, but I always get as far back as Russia (what is now the Ukraine), and that's about it... My mom, on the other hand, traced her mother's side...

    Tire prices....

Ah true, didn't take the big fat rear wheel into account... Still, though, shouldn't a muffler shop be able to fab something up with a pair of slip-ons for cheaper? After which you could have the end result chromed... Not sure which would be cheaper, I'd venture to guess the muffler/chrome...
