Personally, I think the dual snorkel scoop follows the lines of your Valiant to a tee, but it looks like you have a whole new set of rules with the tunnel ram setup now though. Pretty sweet machine btw.

Mini update. I finally picked up a pair of Infinity 3032cf 3.5" speakers. I painted my bracket with an anodized red paint.

Is it possible the spring just needs to be rotated 180º (front to back) to get the stud to line up? Grade 8 bolts would be cheaper than sending everything back.
