    hot rod weekend pictures... 8-31-13

Wow! What a cool show. Thanks for the images. There sure were a lot of straight axle cars there. The green '55 Chevy straight axle car is my favorite. The Pinto wagon isn't something you see anymore. The TV cars were neat too.

    help me find this spoiler?

The Direct Connection / Mopar Performance part number is P4120358. It looks like they were originally vacuum formed from a very thin plastic sheet stock. The result of the finished product had a bumpy, but smooth appearance... they were very far from show quality. These spoilers were held on...

    classic industries

I picked up a dash pad for my '73 Duster over the past summer. I'd definitely use them again. Order a free catalog from them online. It's amazing how much stuff they carry.

more than just a screen name

"dilley340"... My last name is Dilley and I have had a passion for the Duster 340's ever since high school ('75 - '77). I remember a '72 Tor-Red 340 Duster and a Hemi Orange '71 or '72 Demon 340 on the school parking lot! I had an old beat-up SB '63 Impala. :protest: Interestingly enough, I...

    learn from others fu#k ups

I made the mistake of lining up the large dots on my SB (340) Mancini timing chain as shown in the first image. I degreed the cam and my numbers were way off. A call to Mancini to see what I did wrong turned out that I used the wrong dot on the crank sprocket. I should have used the small dot as...

post your factory black a body

'73 Duster 340. "Formal Black" with white stripes and black interior. These images were taken in 1979 except for the interior shot, which was probably around the late 90's. I still have the Duster BTW. :love4:

What do you think? Does my Valiant need a Hood Scoop?

Personally, I think the dual snorkel scoop follows the lines of your Valiant to a tee, but it looks like you have a whole new set of rules with the tunnel ram setup now though. Pretty sweet machine btw.

    personalized plate idea?

I always wanted one that said "PAYDAY" which could be taken as a couple of meanings.

    Pro Street

I love Pro Street, but I have to admit, I bit off more than I could chew. Too many years have passed and still not done. Funny, gettin' it running and driving it has made my bucket list.

    70's/80's back in day cars

Updated pics of my '75 Scamp

That's the cleanest Scamp I've seen in a very long time. It looks down right mean. The 383 / 727 will surprise a lot of folks at the stop light. Nice job.

    Mopar Muscle Mag subscription ????

Called me alot on my cell phone trying to get me to renew even though I wasn't due to run my subscription out for almost a year. I let it run out and haven't resubscribed because of the hassle they gave me.

Looking for speaker recommendations for '74 Sport's (Jerry) speaker brackets

I'm going to pick up a dash frame speaker bracket from our own '74 Sport (Jerry) and want to know what speakers you guys have used with his brackets. I'm stereo challenged and looking for suggestions please. It's going in a '73 Duster. Thanks.

(was) Very disappointed in Mancini Racing

Is it possible the spring just needs to be rotated 180º (front to back) to get the stud to line up? Grade 8 bolts would be cheaper than sending everything back.

Front speaker bracket - as seen on FABO

Lots easier to remove material than put in on! Glad it turned out well.

    project incouragment

Man... my project is going on for so long that I don't even call it a project anymore! The problem with me is that I bit off more than I could chew. Way too ambitious. If I could do it over, I would have made the changes gradually. I also think when your car reaches the point of...

    Late 60's/early 70's look

Late 70's, not early, but I thought I'd toss these in the mix anyway. I still have the Duster btw.

Off to get the back half and 10pt cage. do ya think they'll fit?

I love it! Go for the gusto. What size wheels and tires are those? I'm curious about the wheel backspacing. Nice shop to btw... lift, tranny jack, even A/C. Looks well lit too. Cool project!
