Cloth seats in a 68 Fastback

It has a few higher end options. The original owner was born in 1916, so she would have been 42 when bought new, meaning a few more comforts. It is 318 Auto, UU1 Frost Blue Poly, dealer installed A/C.

Cloth seats in a 68 Fastback

I am trying to find out more about my car. I finally got the fender tag decoded, and the broadcast sheet is very faded. But my interior code is H5B, which the fender tag shows "High Trim Grade Light Blue Metallic". I found on other decoding sites that the interior option on the build sheet...

    WIW: 1970 340 T/A Challenger seats

I just talked to him, he is pretty sure they were 70. He thought about it a little more and believes they were 72. The car had 340 and a pistol grip.

    WIW: 1970 340 T/A Challenger seats

My friend parted out a 1970 Challenger 340 T/A back in the 80's (Edit: 1972 Dodge Challenger 340 4-speed). He put the seats in his 71 Nova SS and still has the car. Now he is restoring the SS and wants to sell the seats. They have the rails and everything attached to them still. He wants to sell...

Any tricks to get a broken glove box lock open?

I am hoping for the same. The guy I got it from only had the car for about 5 years and am hoping he never opened it up also. Maybe it will have an original book in there or something. On my way to try and get it open now. Keep ya updated.

Any tricks to get a broken glove box lock open?

Hahaha, one of the reasons I don't want to reach up and pull the liner out from the back. I know it would land on my head if there is one in there... usually is.

Any tricks to get a broken glove box lock open?

Unfortunately, there is no key slot. I am headed up to where the car is tomorrow. There is a little hole in the center of it knob, I think am going to try the old locking gas cap trick and run a screw into it and see if that works.

Any tricks to get a broken glove box lock open?

Any tricks to get a broken glove box lock open?

The glove box in my 72 Dart won't open. It has never been open since I have owned the car. The turn style lock just spins around and does not catch anything. I don't want to just pry it and bend or brake something. Are there any tricks to getting this open?

New Instrument Panels, anyone bought/seen/installed these???

This place also has just the panel without the guages for $99. It is just a cut flat insert piece, you cut your old guage bezel and attach it.

New Instrument Panels, anyone bought/seen/installed these???

Looks a bit expensive for a flat piece of plastic. The aluminum ones would be worth it if you don't have the tools or skills to make that piece yourself, but it is just a flat piece with holesaw holes drilled out.

    Lets see your center console

Yes, but little details like that, make a huge difference. I thought of mounting my SCS to a stock console. I have seen pics somewhere, but I couldn't find them again. I like this one also:

That's what I was thinking, sounded a little to good to be true. It says in unbolded print "seat upholstery". I wonder how many people they got thinking they were getting seats? ...man, I would have been pist when I open the box.

    Any pics of aftermarket buckets?

Some of that you see is the jack set up for the spare tire, thats where they store it. It is really a pretty simple design. Next time you are in a junkyard, check a jeep seat setup. THe Jeep I used to have was only like that on the pass side.

    Any pics of aftermarket buckets?

Grassy, All the ones I posted were from the Scat series... and Myasylum, that was yes to $331 each, but the racing style ones are $156 ea. and come with slider rails. The price is one reason why I leaned towards the higher backed ones.

    Any pics of aftermarket buckets?

mopardude318, summit racing does have two lower styles. the first is a 1400 series, which are procar by scat. they look like this for $214: The other is made by the same, it is the 1000 series and is for $331:
