you've really got two options: run the engine as it is Completely rebuild the engine one thing will lead to the next, see how quickly things are adding up? you might as well do it how you want it the first time, even if that means waiting a little bit longer.

yea, i beleive you could shave the heads, but i think you would have to shave em quite a bit to get the compression you want, the money you spend on that would be better placed in some new pistons.

do yourself a favor and get frame connectors in before you run it. If you cant afford them, substitute the msd for them, you can get by on a stock ignition, but not a twisted car. Besides, they'll help your car hook up better too.

do you know what you've got for mileage on those stock pistons? if your still on come to the chatroom

ill be running 275/65/15s in back, i really dont want to push the engine too hard. Id say ill be hitting 6000-6500 tops

the 3500 is ok but you will be running around 3200 or more at highway speeds depending on your tire size, so it depends how you want to drive it on the street

nitrous creates MORE heat? i thought it did the exact opposite and raises compression by lowering heat

hmm, now that i am looking at around 400 hp, is my 8 1/4 gonna hold??? Im putting 3:55 richmond gears in with a sure grip, what am i going to look out for and what can i do to beef it up some more. i heard they will hold up to 400 stret hp but this is right at the edge
