    you've really got two options: run the engine as it is Completely rebuild the engine one thing will lead to the next, see how quickly things are adding up? you might as well do it how you want it the first time, even if that means waiting a little bit longer.

    yea, i beleive you could shave the heads, but i think you would have to shave em quite a bit to get the compression you want, the money you spend on that would be better placed in some new pistons.

    do yourself a favor and get frame connectors in before you run it. If you cant afford them, substitute the msd for them, you can get by on a stock ignition, but not a twisted car. Besides, they'll help your car hook up better too.

    the 3500 is ok but you will be running around 3200 or more at highway speeds depending on your tire size, so it depends how you want to drive it on the street

    UPDATE- stock internals-8.5:1 compression sold roller rockers, picked up headers bought 2400 stall, small, but it was cheap buying 3.55 gears msd ignition in the future now the question what should i set the timing at?
