Definitely still have the project and slowly making headway. It's not in a great location for me to spend a lot of time on it but working to move it to my home shop where I'll be able to get more time on it. as it sits, I just need to do a lot of welding and start in on the tin work. I have...

Thanks for checking in and for the kind words Mike. Unfortunately I haven't done much in a while, nor been on the forum, because I've been very busy with work. I've been travelling a while and plan to get back on the car mid-end July when I return. I am more or less done with major fab work...

Nope, although TurboCad is pretty cheap and relatively intuitive. Not as functional as SolidWorks, which I'd love to get my hands on...

Thank you txstang. In answer to your question, nope. None of the above, just a guy with a vision, a bit of time to research and more time to learn, make, correct, and learn from mistakes along the way.

Thanks for that Nate. I'll take a closer look and see what I can make work. How is your build coming, any progress?

What setup are you rocking John? I'm already consider a set of Tilton pedals as a solution, but I like the idea of the power booster rather than manual brakes. I'd have to find a way to mount my Viper pedal pads but that's no big deal... Then I'd probably hang one of these on the firewall...

Thanks guys. And yeah it does look to have room for turbos, just no room for the important things like brake booster, the ABS I'd like to run, my feet, etc...

Yes, planning something along these lines, though I may do them out of 'glass. We'll see when I get there, but definitely doing inner fenders and they will be removable.

That's about right. I've got about 1/2" to spare to make sure I'm clear at full drop.

I think 18's would definitely help. I can't go too much lower than the 2" to the rocker/frame because the top of the tire will hit the fender mounting flange. Gotta stop somewhere I guess.

Just like a GM... The entire front clip, fenders, tubes, core support, etc, comes off in one-piece.

Thanks John. Pretty cool deal you have going with your air suspension supplier. I'm jonesing to get my stuff mounted on the car but I've got too much fab to do to be playing with air bags. I did drop it just for fun to its aired out height, 2" to the rocker, pretty freaking ridonkulous!

After over a month off because of illness, travel, and other fun stuff, I'm finally working on the car again. My firewall/core support bars have been completed and I raised the engine/trans 1-1/4" to gain additional clearance for my steering system. Today I added my version of a monte carlo...

Progress is being made, albeit slow and no pics, yet. I took a month off to travel and bit and be sick, good times... Back on it as of yesterday and will hopefully get some pics up soon.

Hey Nate, good to hear from you! I did see these from TCP, Flaming River also has something similar for T-birds and Chevelles I think. I looked hard at going this route and almost copied the design but felt I needed something more stout since I had to raise the inner tie rods about 2" so I...

Thanks John, and yes, long way but the only way, outside raising the body... By the way, what in the world is your ride height going to be to the rockers? I am at 5" and was thinking of you yesterday when I noticed there is only @ 3" from the top of my 275/35-18 tires to the lip of the fender...

Thanks guys. Muad, maybe this will help... The rack is fixed mounted and the rack shaft is bolted to a secondary slide (purple) via two end brackets (green). The secondary slide moves with the rack shaft based on steering input, sliding through a pair of vespel bushings housed in the...

Thanks Scotty! I've been back Stateside, permanently, for almost 3 weeks now. I haven't gotten a ton done despite the amount of work I've put in, but I have been productive... I previously had a problem with steering rack location, it required the same space needed by the engine. In...

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. For the record, these are no longer mutually exclusive. You can have your cake and eat it too if you so choose. The crew at RideTech has proven this over, and over, and over again. With their new line of shocks, maximum handling performance is easily...

This could be the key. Most of the reviews I have read, I think, were guys retrofitting them in with stock switches, gauges, etc. Starting with a relatively clean slate and new everything might just make everything simpler. I'm actually looking forward to wiring, and programming, one of the...

No disappointment here, you gotta do what's right for you. ISIS and MiMod are it for me, that's all. Good luck with the Painless, I've heard theya re all but... Hopefully it goes well for you.

Well, I won't be back in December because I'm moving back the end of January. Updates won't be had until February or so. The prayer is I'll find a job before we move back and can more or less move to where the job is and get rolling. I keep hearing Nashville is hopping so I'm beginning to narrow...

    73' B3 340 Duster pro touring build

Absolutely! Very easy to do. The switches will be grounded rather than having 12volts run to it. The normal "power" wire will be run to ground, then the opposing positive is run to the mastercell. Cake walk, done & done. For gauges, the only difference is where the power comes from. Signal for...

Go for it!!! You won't regret it. ISIS is great stuff, their support is incredible, they've had a few hiccups early on but they work hard to resolve any issues anybody has. They are seeing time in all different forms of motorsports and they stand behind their stuff. They've been nothing but...
