Starter relay malfunction ? + shorting to ground post inside the relay box , but I would get a volt reading.. The ground wire to NSS switch is clear

I've been putting off checking NSS. This week I Checked the switch and deemed it to be bad. The head scratcher, NSS unplugged and switch in tranny. I tried to start the car , It did. That shouldn't happen right? What am I missing.

Go to auto zone or Oriellys , they will referance it for you. I agree it is 1157.

Ya I know. Its been over a year . I do miss it. But my new engine although not as eye catching , should be a real ripper.

Go to MOPARFINS.COM I was having the same problems years ago . They have a pretty good read.

Gauges aren't grounded to mounting which I like. Also gauge lights are separate. Taped into accessory , Volt pegged as should have. i'll have to wait to check other two gauges when I break in engine.

They can be a bugger. That little dog ear that keeps the connecter in place sometimes doesn't want to back off. I use a dental tool. I can get in push the keeper down and pull connecter out.

After market because they are not OEM. I didn't say they were cheap.

You can make your own ground strap. Sounds like float is stuck. Not that hard to replace.

Bought a set of after market gauges , all electrical , temp oil , volt. Directions say to wire power to ign start . My question is , can I put all three guages on one feed wire or would it be best to spread the load out . No indication in directions on what amps they pull .
