    charging problem self inflicted .

    i was working on a slight over charging problem on a 1990 w250 cummins and i accidently grounded the two field wires together when i was running a jumper wire from the hot field to the battery , the allagator clip grounded the fields together now it's not charging . did the alternator burn out...

    I'm working in a 90 w 250 for a friend it was over charging to about 18 volts or a little more , by cleaning connections i got it down to 14.8 to 15 v it's about a volt higher than i would like would an adjustable regulator be able to get it down around 13.6 or so . or is 14.9 - 15 volts...

    i have a thumb wheel am radio the prob is on the tuner wheel there is a small plastic cog and it is turning on its shaft so the tuner dosent work. my friend said loctite would work i also have east coast epoxy i think that would work better any advice on this would be great thanks

    i just aquired a 70 duster theres 3 main plugs in the firewall the front harness plugs into two of them and the drivers side theres nothing pluged into it would this plug be used for the heater wipers heat gauge oil pressure gauge scince i see no wires for these items if so where can i get this...
