Ok, rain held off (rained on the way home). I made it down to the track. Iron man trophy race - 1/8 
I hate racing 1/8 mile, but they had TnT and it at least showed the cars improvements. I guessed I was at 13.3's, but now I'm sure of it after dropping .22 in the 1/8, and getting 1.87 60 ft

Those shocks work like soul mates with the traction bars. My open 2.94's bit the asphalt like Velcro.
But, But they aren't suppose to. lol
Also, to my friend that sometimes reads this, congrats on winning the River Redemption race last weekend in his class! He has the Duster in this short video.

You guys didn't have a race with your a bodies...
After today, I'm sure just the magnum heads would push me into 12's. It's not even a question in my mind. But it would be nice to get there with a stock 360, stock converter and 2.94's. Back to my think tank.

Next Saturday is supposed to be fun day and back to 1/4 mile races. Weather permitting, I plan to go back. My previous best was 8.68 in the 1/8. Went 8.46 yesterday and gained 1.5 mph. In the few days in between, I'll be trying to come up with something else to try....
