yeah, not too sure about your odd ball time slips..... I do agree your an odd ball.... My cars pretty much run the same every time, only exception would be if I break one street tire loose, then the et shows loss but the mph pretty much stays the same. I guess I don't experience your freaky "one hit wonders" … lol

Here's an idea for ya..
Add a good 250 horsepower to your car take off those cheater slicks and go back to your street tires add a clutch and 4 Speed and rev it up to about 6 grand and let go of the clutch! You take your chances with your vehicle but I don't with mine. it would be nice if you would take that quote and time slip in its context and not out of it to suit your story...

You got your spending headers and your brand new cheater slicks and your rear end gears so now you can go ahead and produce a time slip faster than my fastest time slip and have your bragging rights...
This always seem to be your excuse / reason..

I could start selling Time Slips by the pound! LOL look I don't need any excuses I just tell it like it is. When I'm in full kill mode I'm in full kill mode. When I come down to the track to do a little test and tune that's what it is..

still want to put your 6k stroker motor against my what, 750 dollar 360 carb to pan??? And your 4.11's against 3.23's??? And my stock converter against you dumping your clutch with slicks at 6k rpms? And you gutted car against my full weight car???

Have you been talking to Yellow Rose or something? Your legend about my motor and it's cost keeps going up every time you talk about it... Next time I will have put seven or eight grand into the motor alone! LOL good Lord don't you ever get tired of making up internet folklore...

Another thing you can parent how much your motor cost you has absolutely no relevancy... Like the $50 motor I bought on Craigslist and did a 14.2... how does that bang for buck pan out???

Wait a minute who said I couldn't tune it? Did I say that to? Did you do the math on what $50 to get 14: 2 comes out to at 750 to get 13: 9? 6 grand is like everything I mean dual quad tunnel ram carburetor all that stuff not just into the motor as an internal parts. Whatever makes you happy I'm not trying to lie to nobody that's for damn sure I don't need to lie to make friends..

Hey you quit being mean to our jpark. He is a super model. So what if his $6000+ stroker is slower that you finely tuned hemi stomper 360 low compression 2.45 geared street car.
It does not matter because he has a big heart even if his car is slow.
 
I'm sorry I'm not taking the time to do all the research and all that I'm actually working on my car putting things back together and just popping in here and giving me s*** as I go along...
 
And even more so I'm totally voice commanding this so I'm hoping it's coming out correctly. You work on yours and I'll work on mine..
 
My car has done just a little under an 11-5 which should really be down to about a 10-9 if I had the correct suspension to get my 60 foot down to where it should be. Now I took that cam out and I'm doing other things with the car. with all the experience out here people should know exactly what the difference is between a car that does high 13th and middle 11s? This isn't Fast and the Furious and 10-second cars lol. hopefully 318 has valves that will fly will actually get down into the twelves this year it looks like he's filing and grinding and working his way towards it... Elevens I don't think so...
you can go on your daily driver high gear and blah blah blah but people who buy Doug's headers cheater slicks and new gears have other things in mind...

Did you add the price of the second custom grinding of the cam and lifters plus shipping and new gaskets to the $6000.
I would not add the new gears plus lube plus set up fee to the engine cost though. That should be included in over all car cost I would think.
