What exhaust u running ? Stock 340 ? Headers ?This is the 360 I plan on stuffing in there. Built it about 5 years ago for a 41 Willys project that never happened. I scrounged all the parts from my son. Had a big Erson cam but swapped in a smaller comp thumper just for puttin on the street. Put on the intake that came with the cudas. Fitting up motor mounts that I got from a member here.

Same with my car, I've been painting since I was a young kid and now I get real sick when I do large amounts of painting so did mine one peace at a time. it came out real cobby as well and like you sanded and buffed my *** off. After the clear coat. I am by no means a painter, maybe 6 or 7 cars in my life. but this one was the worst for orange peel I ever did.
maybe the heat, humidity , my equipment or me, I don't know but after about a week of cutting and buffing it looks ok.
gonna save the last buff out after I get done nicking it all up.

Don't know if you tried Tryzak DA pads that are 3,000 grit but just before you buff for finish sanding they are great. Nice to see someone tackle there own paint job that has done little painting and turn out as nice as yours.
Pictures look better than my car really is, it is shinny but has some orange peel and a few dirt specs. I have to keep running for the toilet while I paint because I keep throwing up on clear coating. Thanks Fred, I painted in my shop with the doors partly open and the fan blow out the over spray. Still got pretty bad in there . Mostly on the clear coat. Yours looks great in the pics.
I don't think I will ever stop I have 6 boys and ether there into cars or small planes seems like they need dad for some project.I 'm thinking this is my last one. I don't know why I don't just buy a new big screen TV and a nice recliner. LOL
