Just for interest, the 041 Pontiac cam [ Ram Air 2 & 4 engines ] was pretty big for a 400 engine, 231/240 @ 050. Only came with a 4 speed & [ I think ] minimum of 3.90 gears. It was pretty dead in a 400 under about 3000 rpm.
I think some of that was also due to their round port heads, wasn't it? They didn't make as much low end torque as the D-ports. 65, the two Pontiac cam specs they provided are reversed. The 041 is the larger of the two.
