2 things, 1st i hope that cardboard is fire retardant :rofl:
and 2nd (more seriously) don't forget to seal above the tubs up into the 1/4 panel area. i've seen the result of a trunk fire that just spread through above the wheelhouses and through the rear door cards into the car. not pretty :(

oh yeah, i’m going to seal that with fire resistant cardboard too!

i’m just kidding!
But… since i had to cut out the 1/4 window regulators, it’s pretty loosey there, i’m brainstorming how i can securely install then and probably i should go lexan for these…
Any thoughts or suggestions on that? i need to do it before i’ll seal the wall there
 
chipping away on the interior, cut out bunch of panels, i think i’ll want it painted! any suggestions how to clean/prime/paint sheetmetal?

master cylinder and brake pedal!
since firewall is slant had to figure out a vertical mount plate.
Seems i can eliminate proportioning valve with the selfadjustable dual pushrod set up. we’ll see how it will go

ran another X between frame rails, reused pieces of old floor because i was lazy and a little but of transmission tunnel. Started on a dashboard. i have 2 weeks! they start racing on March 15th at PIR

looking good :thumbsup:. will the car see any road use or is it just a race car? if it'll see road use too i'd go round all the seams/joins underneath with some seam sealer before painting. there's nothing worse than rusty stains coming out of panel joins etc on an otherwise great looking car just for the sake of some sealer.
