Thanks everyone. I will post more pics soon. I did not post a pic of the front stance with the motor in. Will do that next.

Looks great, I will be doing the same to mine as soon as I'm done with a project I'm doing for a buddy!!! I can't wait, its been 10 years long years since I have driven her!!

mlmmopar,

Thanks, and I know what you mean! I bought this car back in '89 or so. Stored it everywhere, worked on it when I could. This is the second go around. It has the original paint scheme but has been repainted maybe 10 years ago. I put a 340 sixpack in it, front discs, then the 5 speed. It's an original 4 speed car.

Here are a few more shots:

Thanks to everyone for the feedback! This is a LA 360 block, not a roller motor. I've read that the late model timing cover is too thin to clear the cam and/or fuel pump eccentric. This IS NOT true. I went to a junk yard and bought everything needed for a serpentine drive from a RAM pick-up truck. It bolted up even WITH the fuel pump eccentric and had over .100 clearance. Here's some photos of the LA and late model covers:

Holy Crap! That sucker is so clean. I absolutely LOVE the detain in the motor. The brackets are killer. Perfect stance!

Damn dude we are building the same thing aside from mine being a 65 dart conv. I have several questions I'd love to run by you as far as wheel offset headers etc. finally someone that's in the same boat as me. Beautiful car man

Much thanks to everyone! I'm putting the TTI headers in now and it's a ***** even without T-bars. Passenger side fits well, driver is needing inner fender "persuasion" with a Harley wrench. It'll go, needs about 1/2" clearance. Gtmopar, the front 17x8's fit with no rub. It's sweet and I was worried. The 8 3/4 will need to be narrowed about 5/8" per side. So near, yet so far but the look is worth it, I think. I'll post pics soon.

Yea looks sweet and let me know exactly where you had to persuade the fender well so I can relieve it before I shoot the engine compartment. I swear nothing is easy on these cars no matter how much **** you get rid of. Are those headers for 67 and up? Or are they something else? I narrowed my rear end 2 inches on either side so I could get a real deep dish wheel. I'm thinking rushforth or something of that sort. Looking good! Post some videos of it once you get it running so It can get my *** more motivated

Sorry about all the questions but one problem I was having is figuring out the backspace on the front wheels. Did you go off the measurements that RMS suggests? First off they told me that 17x8's would not work and rub like hell. Glad I found someone who has actually did it first hand. I appreciate the help, it will save me a lot of grief.
