Good you got it home. Yes those bezels are tough to come by. They do surface here from time to time. Start a wanted thread and keep your eyes open for parts cars. Some of you may remember this one that was for sale here on fabo from California. I finally got it to Missouri. Got some new 14” wheels and tires. Buying a ton of parts now.
Trying to find a bench seat and the ever elusive headlight bezels.

Yep. And thanks! I have a thread here but no dice so far. I’ll pay up for a nice set if anyone has some. I love this car. That’s the original paint! Lol.Good you got it home. I like it too. It's a 170 sedan. They make great hot rods! I love their simplicity. Like Scott's.Yep. And thanks! I have a thread here but no dice so far. I’ll pay up for a nice set if anyone has some. I love this car. That’s the original paint! Lol.

I am glad that you got it home. Mine has a damaged left Headlight Bezel and is missing the Left front Fender molding.
Yes, P4B is premium buckets in blue. I have a '66 Barracuda with the same combo.Anyone know if “P4B” under the “trm” portion of the options tag is for blue interior/trim? These cars change every year on the option codes and for whatever reason, 66 Darts are tough to find information on. I’ve found 66-7 Charger info, didn’t know if it was actually correct.
If it is correct, my 66 Gt is factory silver with blue interior which seems like a weird combination..

You need to start a wanted thread. ASking in a general thread is not a good idea. Yes they are hard to find. The best thing to do is take your damaged ones and have them restored. I don't know who does that kind of work but may be someone will chime in.Those bezels are getting IMPOSSIBLE to find. Still looking for a decent pair…..
Thanks Mike. I was trying to respond to superbird6bbl and I guess I sausage fingered it on my phone. You need to start a wanted thread. ASking in a general thread is not a good idea. No harm, no foul. I sent you a pm.Thanks Mike. I was trying to respond to superbird6bbl and I guess I sausage fingered it on my phone.
I have started a wanted thread. They get buried very quickly but I promise I wasn’t trying to “bump” my need for the bezels. I am still fairly surprised they are so scarce. That’s all. Won’t happen again.
I chatted with Dave Layson about that as well as my neighbor who owns a mold/tool and dye shop. Here in the US, stamping dies cost around $10,000 each and trim dyes about the same. Take that x2 for left and right. The stamping, trimming, raw material, and labor to manufacture is the cheap part. One year only. Oh and someone would need to loan a perfect bezel for a pattern.Kinda crazy they haven’t reproduced the headlight bezels for a 66 Dart yet. I know they had a relatively low production number vs other years, especially because they repop 65 dart “candy cane” mouldings, I know a ton of these cars need them.
This isn't the place to sell parts although your intentions are good. Start a proper sale thread and the items will go fast.I've owned 66 Dart GT's for 40 years.
tks

You would think with all the hype regarding 3d printing and other modern techniques, someone should be able to take an original bezel and make cost effective die. But what do I know, I’m just an old dart enthusiast.
There is a Guy on our Prelude Board who does 3D printing. He said he would give it a go, but he needs a template, but Ill be DAMNED if Im going to send him 1 of my pristine bezels.....
I can definitely model these and 3d print them as they look very simple in shape. Would you be able to take some pictures and take some dimensions so I can model one? Do you have a social networking account where we could discuss more interactively? such as WhatsApp or Facebook maybe?
I'm sure I can make some replicas if I got one to measure/replicate
