I installed the Hughes rockers and Manton pushrods this weekend. I have to call Hughes because one of the adjusters seems to be defective. I'm also going to order the billet hold downs they produce.

Looking really good! Manton Push Rods are the chittt!

Are those 3/8 " with 5/16 TIps oil thru?

The powder coater brought me a gift today... Kinda nice to have a friend in the business.

Worked on the stroker for a while tonight. Put the timing cover back on after last weeks cam change. Bolted on the MP fuel pump and the Victor 340 intake. She'll be dyno ready in no time.

Now that the 408 and A833 are pretty much complete, it's back to the bodywork..... I hired a couple guys off of craigslist to help with the bodywork. At $100 a day per guy it seems like a hell of a great deal and they definitely know what they are doing. I'm finally starting to forget just how wavy this car was in the beginning.

The ignition for the 408 showed up today. Not bad for $250.... hopefully it works correctly.

I started working on the deck lid last night. Starting to get good at this bodywork stuff.

Well after 5 coats of high build poly primer and a lot of block sanding my hood is finally perfectly flat. The top of the trunk isn't too far behind either. I'm starting to understand why show quality paint jobs cost so much. I actually thought the hood was good to go before I started working on it but after going over it with the block.... one word WAVY.

I wish I would have thought to have my drip rails smoothed like that, it looks great.

The local Pick a Part had a 50% off sale this weekend so I went and pulled these off a 74 Duster. The rotors, calipers, and pads are all in great usable condition. Tore them apart for powder coating and new ball joints and bushings. Not bad for $130 plus I'll get $20 back when I bring the cores back from the drum setup.

Braced up the LCAs and sent everthing to the powder coater. Should get them back before the weekend and my new ball joints and Hyperflex bushings should arrive before then too.

Great work on that body and btw I feel your pain. Blocking is really frustrating, but worth every minute when it's painted. I just finished body and paint on my truck and even the flat straight panels were wavy.

Got the bushing set today. Ball joints arrive tomorrow. Will be able to install the the front suspension this weekend.
