What exactly does the 7.10 mean? My buddy has the above mentioned tires on the front of his '63 Dodge 440. As far as I can remember, the tire sizes were something like F70-14 or G78-15 (in the '70s).
Numerical sizes ended in the mid/late 60's.6.95,7.10,8.20 etc. Then the letter sizes A thru L till the radial tires brought on the metric sizes and back to numbers 225/75/15 and the like. The early number sizes can be bought thru companies like Coker Tire.
And latter on they remove the decimal point from 7.10 and flipped it over to become Chevy OIL caps! I'm sorry I just couldn't help myself.
