To me a Pilot would be a car that was designed, engineered, and planned for and the pilot would be the early builds.

A prototype falls under 'Hmmmm....I wonder if this will work and can we sell it to the brass upstairs as a regular production car?"

It takes me about 1/2 hour after I get home from a show to post pictures....:clock:

The only mopars along I90 from Idaho to Missoula, MT are a older cream colored dodge pick up for sale, a blue 61-61 Plymouth wagon in someones yard, and a yard filled with mopars, trucks, late 60's B body, a older wagon, and some others. But the last time I went through there the river was taking over his yard.

On the 70 dart im ganna have to pull out the B.S. flag. :bs:

You guys... man, if I had found this thing (if it really exists) and read the responses you guys have put up - including money offers, the last thing I would do is post a pic. I wouldn't breathe another word of it or it's whereabouts until it was safely under lock and key. Jeez, visions of Barret Jackas and the retirement fund I would get for it!

I agree with one of many. whenever someone finds something very rare, the nay sayers pipe up and say its not real, its a hoax. I'm not saying that this is or isn't a hoax, only time will tell, but give him the benifit of the doubt without saying that this is a hoax. If it is a hoax it will outplay itself, but if it is for real, I hope all you NAY SAYERS man up and apolagies.

Ever heard of a factory 4Dr hemi car? its real.

Or a factory hemi superbird that the entire car, engin, and rims were painted hemi orange. Its real too, But I am sure someone will be too quick to try and prove me wrong.

This could be real, and if it is...wow is all I can say. if a factory hemi convert goes for in the mills, what would a restored one of one big block dart RT's go for?????!!!!!???

Reading this there is some negativity. I have kind of promised the car to one person if I can get it. I still have not got ahold of the guy that owns it. As far as the pics. put in three factors. Crappy old camera, weather, and I am not good at taking pics. Seeing that you can use google earth ect to find things. I am not sure I want to post pics as it might give away the location. As for the person that I will let have the car. I told them they can have it for what ever I get it for as I am not out for money. I will let them decide if they want to post pics of it when they get the pics.

It would be a great find if such a car was made. A picture of the VIN isn't to much to ask from a whole slew of interested MOPAR A body fans

I would be happy as an uninterested party to take a photo of the tag and obscure the sequence number so no one can run it and track down the owner.

that is, if you're willing to take the pic and email it to me. And by the way, I'm in Texas and my private executive jet is being serviced, so "I" won't be flying up to see it

I'm hoping on the "IT a hoax train" You keep coming up with stupid little excuses. You can't tell where it is if you include close up pics of the car. even if there was a back ground, as long as there wasn't an address, or any reconizable markings in the back ground...whats the problem.

Though you do have a point....that fender tag in the pic above was clearly taken on the corner of Brown st, and Main st. I can tell by the reflection in the pic, and the air color.

This is all a hoax, and I will apolagise on here if I am proven wrong.

Post a pic, or PM me a pic. I have no money, I don't want the car, just find it fasinating.

71340dart. ya seriously dude, im broker than broke, i live in canada, and i have no interest in driving my poor *** down to whereverville and pulling a rotted "RT Dart" out of the mud, trailering it back to customs and have them ask me wtf is going on. but i am interested in seeing a picture of the car to know if this story is actually true? read it again, i am interested in mopars, and especially in unique ones. stop screwin around.

Yup.

I would not say a word. Learned that lesson when I first started hunting. Saw a HUGE muley one day and told someone I thought was a friend. Next thing ya know there's 10 guys in the area and one of them got that mule deer.

I say lay off the guy, you're acting like a bunch of horny teenager boys that saw your first naked piece of pussy, or worse, actually touched it!

If the guy doesn't want to post a pic or the person he promised it to if obtained, asked that pics not be posted, then it's none of your, mine, or anyones business except those involved.

If it turns out not to be real, and there are a lot of doubters, so what. the doubters were right. Otherwise, take it easy and be patient. It's all good.
