Nice Tony! There,s one less problem fixed...shoulda bought 2 see,n your working again LOL.Do you have disc brakes or drum on Tonya,s Dart?
Not working yet....waiting for them to give me a date to show up for work..LOL
Dart has drums...actually had a set of disc for it...but one side would not fit...like went they shorted the housing the flange was off a hair....and that was not the side that bent...and those disc brakes are on the Fuster....
if they would give me a discount i might have bought 3..........

Been hanging a Dana 60 under that Dart all morning...got thing measured left and right...up and down...going to check again...then tack weld the ladder bar bracket for now...
Well...sorry...but I bought one of the Moser Fab875 for the Fuster....got too many 8 3/4 parts lying around..plus I am using the narrowed axles from the Dart instead of the full lenght Fuster axles...as those axles would have some resale vaule vs the Darts narrowed axles...
Yeah..i may regret that decsion some day but for now it is pure econonics...plus the housing will be here next week...while the Dana takes a month to get...
Did a little bit of welding on the ladder bar brackets to the housing.......will finish those brackets in morning plus need to get shock brackets welded on.....and that leaves me with getting the driveshaft shorted and a 1350 yoke on it...
there is a TnT scheduled for next Friday night...trying to get the car out there....and then I dont know if the driver will be back in town from her vacation...lol

I got refri in shop....swamp cooler...and a dusty T shirt from lying on my back on the floor..
****...one of those days...I get the ladder bars all welded on...then i set the lower shock mounts on rear...get them welded on...splash on a little black paint to cover up the bare metal...
go to bolt on lower shocks...the fricking lower brackets made by alston....has a different hole spacing then the Competition Engr shock mounts....

ok....got lower shock brackets that fit..and are bolted on...decided to upgrade the brake lines on that beautiful new dana 60...so I ordered #3 steel braided lines ....and I need adapters to go from 3/8-24 thread to #3 AN fitting.....got two in package from jegs.....jegs brand....need two more...
order the steel braided line and order adapters....open box ...I ordered wrong adapters from Summit...need two male ends....got a male/female adapter.....look up part number and description shows male/female....****....picture shows male/male adapter.....picture says it is not the actual part but a representative photo....LOL...Got Me.......

I thought about looking for it locally, but I figured by the time i drove across town and back i would spend more in gas then the 5 bucks summit charged for shipping....plus it was not mission critical at the time...friday is...LOL ...and I dont know if my driveshaft is going to be done...lol...so trying to make the friday night tnt might be wishful thinking....
and got ups tracking number from moser......other housing will be here friday....so i get to move one car from one bay to the other bay and start all over again......Practice make Perfect...

took slicks and new rims to have them mounted....took them to Big O since all their bays were empty figure I would get a quick turn around...they said they will not mount slicks because they have tubes in them...OK...No business for you guys...forver...went across street...Discount Tire...said no problem....but wont get them done unitl later this afternoon....
should have went to one of the places that dont speak English along Nellis Bvld....probably would have been done in 15 minutes...especailly went you got cash in your pocket...

And this morning...UPS guy...was early...cause I had a big box on his truck....new Moser Fab 875...had it cut to use narrowed axles out of Dart for Fuster...and use the 3rd member out of the fuster...

Chop Cut Rebuild!
Ladder bar brackets and lower shock brackets on porch this afternoon from UPS man for Fuster and Moser housing...
Played plummer today....finally fixed the toliet in the old garage...had to replace water valve.....also had to fix cold water faucet in house...

Well....a 71 Dart with a Strange Dana 60 needs to have Strange disc brakes....need to bleed them in morning.....
Gotta take youngest daughter to airport in tommorw afternoon...she going to pickup my grandson and bringing him back next monday....
should be working on that Fuster on friday.....with any luck....need to have all 3 of them for race on June 30.....
