:poke:Excellent work so far, love seeing your progress. If your current hood doesn't work out you could always add a 70 Airgrabber section instead??

4 steps backwards, 6 steps forward with the Air Grabber idea.

The Duster with the Air Grabber hood is my brother's creation. It is without a doubt my absolute favorite hood for a Duster, I think Mopar really missed out when they didn't do that from the factory. If I had the means, that's what I would put on my car, absolutely no doubt.

It's gone through a couple of peoples hands since he owned it. Wow, the memories and stories of that car....

The car doesn't look the same, much more stock than when he owned it, but the hood is unchanged.

I did cut up the old hood today to clean up the garage a little...but I did save the scooped part...last year at the Nationals there was a AAR Duster on the Vendor side which looked awesome...next week I'll cut the old skin off the 71 hood and see where I'm at but honestly I have been focusing my attention to filling a few remaining holes in the engine compartment and working on the rear bumper.

That belonged to Rodney Chapman who visited our digs and called himself "DustAAR".
Weeb had his full magazine spread over here just last night.

I dont mean to piss on this guys car but...... I'm gonna.... Why the 72 bucket seats? You telling me that this great restoration shop cant even find the correct gas cap?

You think that's bad Beer Man? Try some "Wild Blue" Premium Blueberry Lager.

I thought it was the name....NOT the taste! Now there's $9.00 I'll never get back.

I know I've slacked off on the photo's lately but theres alot of boring stuff going on. I'm waiting on some cool parts to arrive until then heres a couple shots of whats been going on..... lots of mock up and measuring.
Who want's to try and figure out what the last couple shots are ? It should be pretty easy. I did decide to delete the throttle cable holes so I can design a cleaner system eventually.
