A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

Don't forget the Cumberland Valley Motors car show on Thursday Night in Mechanicsburg, on the Carlisle pike right next to Cumberland Valley High School. Starts at 4 PM.
I'm thinkin' we can have Jim save a few spots since he will get there early!!!
 
OK....we made it here and are not in either of the places they said we would be. We are located at the corner of Diane Dr & Dukes Blvd. Area N-54/55 at the beginning of the E-body row. Can't miss us. See you all soon, hopefully.

Anybody wishing to find the FABO tent at Carlisle - just look at the base of the only
2 trees in the bowl of the facility and there we be.

HemiDenny HemiMark and 62BT409 have their Hemi A-Bodies on display
and Denny also brought a complete HDK K-frame so you can see what one looks
like out of the car.

For the Nats he plans to bring a complete Dart shell mocked up with an HDK and
a (probably) 440.

We hope that all FABO members stop by and visit!

It looks like another Dart will be making that party....this car has been a fight the entire build, but it looks like all thats left is a front end alignment.

Denny, it was great to meet you, HemiMark and Old Man Mopar at Carlisle yesterday. Your A-bodies are way too cool. Your duster exceeded my expectations and and Marks Cuda made me drool.
 
Well.....show's over for us. Food, sleep then the almost 9 hour tow.

Met and talked to quite a few FABO members. We will be back!

Next, Mopar Nat's and a tent 4 times as big!

To eliminate repeating the explanation many times when anyone spotted the Hemi A-bodies,
Denny brought a new HDK with power steering and put it out for view.

All three cars look great as usual and that New K is just awesome. Oh, the banner is kickin' too.
 
Holy crap. I was there and didn't even know it. I met quite a few members at their vending spaces but didn't know the A Body tent was even there. Walked right through there. Remember the Cuda with the old Hilborn type stacks. I don't know how I missed the sign. Damn. Would loved to have stopped in and chatted and met a bunch of members. It was Sat morning when it was drizzling, maybe that was why. Didn't see anybody there. I had my black ForAbodiesonly hat on all weekend.

sorry we missed you. when it started raining for that short period.....for some reason, the tent got crowded.

that short rain just kept things cooled things down.....all in all, it was a great weekend. Kudos to the Mopar club that put the cruise on Thursday night. What a blast!!
 
I was gonna call you and see if you were coming back on I-76..I figure you took I-80 but if you were on 76 maybe you could stop by Summit Racing and I'd meet you and deliver the "Old" Slammer K. I just bring it to the Nats in a few weeks.
