awesome builds in this thread!! look forward to reading more on the progress! As for the aluminum rods alot of it depends on the maufacturer of the rods. I have a set of Bill miller engineering rods in my cuda. They say no problems with street use. They say oils have alot to do with it. Good info here..

Very nice work Denny. That aluminum block looks sweet, I'm sure the front suspension is happy you chose it!
 
the bar that looks like a steering drag link that goes behind the oil pan sump is a removable rear brace to box the k-frame/lower control arms

Wow, I didnt know what that was........ I guess gen5 is better than ever!

also, I can't believe there is no tape on the rubber bungee hook holding the lower control arm up! :prayer:
