-
where ya' been skypower?....we kinda miss.... your BS

Been very busy lately not much time left in the day. I have been quietly watching your progress and it looks great.:salute:

Mines slowly moving along, rear end stuff is kicking my butt, seems like everything I touch has to be redone but thats ok at least I will know its done right when I'm finished with it. Motor is going together with the cast heads for now, hopefully they will be getting it together soon.

Hey do you have the dates for the Nat's. been thinking I might need a break soon.

Rats!

I was hoping that Denny would get the trick headers like the Chevy guys use.

That looks more like the new modern motor mounts/exhaust. Saves weight and increases hp what will chevy think of next.

fresh from the "skunkworks"......anybody want the plans?

I wonder if they put baffles in them or if their straight pipes.

back to the hot rod tomarrow......went to Eldora Speedway for the rainout/mudbog....actually to watch my nephew.. Travis race his 410 sprint car with the World of Outlaw boys

Got a little done on mine today.

man...thatsa somea sweet "street" hardware....(my Itilian)

In the next few days I'll start a thread for the Cuda since I can finally start getting some work done and hopefully the motor shouldn't be to much longer.

Looking forward to an update on the Duster.

skypower...gimme some specs on your hemi build...compression/cam/valvetrain/ignition/ect

your "Cuda looks like it can handle just about anything....it's gonna be fun, fun, fun

maybe Bro John will post some updated photos

added bumpers and trimmed interior pieces to go to Bouts for red paint...still need drivers side sailpanel
worked on rear brake line so I can install drivers side header and start adding wiring in engine comp and button up engine bay

Well I took your advice on the motor and it's being built for the street not too crazy basically stock. The motor is a 1966 block with stock cast heads, its .045 over 9.5 to 1 comp inline mp intake with edelbrock carbs for now, cam will be custom ground with very little overlap so I don't cook my feet on glowing headers, valve train stock, MSD ignition. Bla bla bla, just your basic smog Hemi, so I can drive around and have some fun, but the good thing about the Hemis is a small intake carb change and a little more cam and wha la 10 sec beast. But you already know all that. Your setup should be a a wild ride. Can't wait to see more pics of your progress.

you will like for hot rod use....

sounds like same intake/carb combo Jim and I are runnin'

I was thinking building it this way would just let me play with the car more than work on it. Even put Hydraulic cam in so just a cool toy.

Got your motor running yet?
